Hilltop Haven Bed and Breakfast Reservations and Cancellation Policy
Because of our small size, last-minute cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore we must maintain a strict cancellation policy.
Reservations placed by email or telephone are held for five days from the date we received the request for reservation. After five days, if we have not received an accepted credit card charge approval, or received your personal check, we will consider that you have made other plans, and accordingly void your reservations request to make room for other guests.
For confirmed (paid-in-full) reservations, if cancellation is received not less than 15 days prior to scheduled arrival date, your payment amount, less a $15 handling charge, will be refunded. Between 15 days and 5 days prior to your scheduled arrival, to the extent that we are able to re-book all, or a portion, of your reserved nights and space, and we have received final payment from the subsequent party, your payment amount for the nights/space re-booked successfully, less a $25 handling charge, will be refunded. From 5 days prior to scheduled arrival, no refunds will be made, regardless of the reason for non-arrival or early departure. Phoned cancellations must be followed by a written cancellation letter to: Hilltop Haven Bed and Breakfast.
